Just as I had promised you some time ago, the trailer for Magic Mike has come out and here it is:
Channing Tatum stars in a movie that is loosely based on his real life, before the bright lights and the movie roles. Tatum used to be a male stripper back in the day (as you have probably heard or realized from either my previous comment or the actual trailer), and now he’s ready to show the world. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.
Should I tell you this will end up badly? It probably won’t, judging from the idea of the movie and now having actually watched the trailer, I truly believe that this just may be as good as his other romantic comedies (ie. Dear John, The Vow). I won’t be able to tell the boys to come and watch Tatum in Magic Mike, but I can very well use this opportunity to invite some beautiful girlies out. Then again, suggesting this movie may make them double think my sexual orientation and if I wanted to do something with them or was just looking for an excuse to watch Channing Tatum dance for me…I mean….us.
