Rating:4 out of 5 The menu is extensive but balanced well and I love how they featured the wines in the menu
This newly opened restaurant owned by the Cohn restaurant group was a beautiful blend of Mediterranean décor and comfy home relaxation. A small restaurant in size it offers intimate areas for conversation, enjoying a good bottle of wine or great eating. There is a front patio on the street for those who like to people watch and a lovely patio in the back with a fireplace that they light at dusk. Loved the atmosphere, our waiter was excellent and our choices perfect for a sultry August evening.
The menu is extensive but balanced well and I love how they featured the wines in the menu. They had a $20, $30, and $40.00 section featuring all types of wines. We picked an intriguing wine called Alias. It was a chardonnay from California 09 made from 8 well known yet unrevealed winemakers. It was lovely.
We choose two appetizers: Lamb meatballs in a lemon cumin yogurt and steak Carpaccio. We shared both and loved both. The other appetizer where deliciously described in the menu and will be sampled on the next trip.
We ended the meal with a pizza choice that was just enough without walking away over stuffed.
The menu is very reasonably priced. The food and service a 3 1/2 stars.
My only negative is parking. It’s on the street so wear your walking shoes.
They will be featured for restaurant week. What a great way to explore a new restaurant’s menu.
