Mexican Tacos Part 1

Eat a real Mexican taco. There is nothing better. When it comes to Mexican food, and tacos that is…

If you have ever had the privilege of crossing the border into the U.S.A southern neighbor, you would hopefully know the unique taste of street tacos.

Street tacos are different from every other taco you may order in any restaurant. Honestly, there is not one thing that you could tell me to change this fact. It doesn’t matter how much any of your local restaurants assert that there is the real deal street taco, it never will be.

The thing about street tacos is that you do not want to know what is in them. The special part of street tacos is the air the meat breathes, it’s the lack of hygiene in the cooking area, it’s the recycled grease and fat.

Street tacos come in their usual “chorizo”, carne asada, tripe, and adobo. They are all made with fresh ingredients, and in some cases a local pet or two. It’s sad but it is true, don’t believe me?

Go around town, there are veterinary offices near-by. I’m sure when owners decide to utilize the “corpse disposal” option, it’s the taco shop where those dear pets end up.

There is something weird going on around taco shops. The Mexican streets are often known for the high number of “homeless” pets, they walk around and eat whatever they can find. Nobody knows where they really spend their time or how they protect themselves from everything from cars, to people and other wild animals. They are seriously everywhere. Everywhere except near a taco shop. Why? Maybe it’s a sixth sense or something, they can smell the death and the dark side of this type of business.

Cheer up, don’t feel too bad, it’s all part of the cycle of life. Just like Mufasa told Simba that sometimes we need to eat those defenseless beings that….wait, that probably wasn’t it huh?

To be continued…
