The premise of the movie is very simple, in the future time travel has been invented but soon after it is deemed illegal and controlled by the mob. When the mob wants someone to get rid of they send them back in time to a looper to dispose of. Loopers are in it for life once they decide to get out they know that the clock is ticking before they get tracked down by the mob years later and then sent back for there younger self to dispose of them. Unfortunately josephs older self gets away and now he is on the hunt.

I really enjoyed this movie it had a good amount of action, cool special effects, some comedy here and there and just a good story to go along with it. I really enjoyed how young Joe(Joseph gordon Levitt) and old Joe(Bruce Willis) were the same character but had 2 different perpectives. You felt for old Joe who thought his only way to get back to his time was to kill the now younger person who sent him back. Then you had young Joe who wanted to kill his older self and continue living his life. I liked that you were rooting for both characters to achive there goals even though you knew only one could come out on top. One of my favorite scene in the movie is when young Joe realises how everything is connected and what he has to do to break the loop.

I really enjoyed this film and the story not to mention young Joe played by Joseph. The action is solid the story is pretty cool and original. It’s a cool sci-fi movie that seems original and not just a reboot or and adaptation from something else. Overall I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have a good times at the movies.
