Glee, New Girl, and Raising Hope Renewed!
Fox confirmed that indeed Glee, New Girl and Raising Hope have been renewed for another season. Fans rejoice as they will be able to catch their favorite Tuesday night line up for their fourth, second and third seasons respectively.
Whether its the quirkiness of Zooey Deschanell (500 Days of Summer), the musical covers of Glee, or the adventures in raising a baby in a poor but resorceful family, you are set this fall. We don’t know much more about the other shows on Fox but there’s no worrying on my part since my shows seem to be here to stay.
If you’re not hip and cool and have not seen these shows…allow me to elaborate.
New Girl
Starring: Zooey Deschanel, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone, Lamorne Morris, Jake M. Johnson.
Jess – a bubbly offbeat teacher who is known to burst into spontaneous song – catches her boyfriend with another woman, and needs a new place to live. She moves into a loft with three single guys she’s never met before. Nick is a jaded law-school dropout, who usually just wants to be left alone. Schmidt is an flashy businessman, who believes he is a gift to women. Winston is a former athlete who doesn’t know what to do, but really needs to win whatever it is. Can this dysfunctional group handle the “adorkable” new girl?
Glee
Starring: Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Mathew Morrison, Diana Argon, Amber Salling
When a High School Spanish teacher, Will Schuester, becomes the director of the school’s failing Glee club, New Directions, he hopes to be able to rejuvenate it. The club competes in the choir competition circuit. It’s been called “a High School Musical for adults”, the series follows the club and its mixture of oddball members as they try and restore it to its former glory.
Raising Hope
Starring; Lucas Neff, Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt, Shannon Woodward, Cloris Leachman
Jimmy becomes a single parent to an infant after the mother he had a one-night stand with ends up on death row.With the help of his parents, his Maw Maw and his girlfriend Sabrina, they will do their best to raise this little bundle of joy by the name of Hope.
