John C. McGinley is finally getting a chance to go back to his theatre roots and will be cast as Dave Moss in the classic Broadway play Glengarry Glenross.  John started his career as an understudy for John Turturro in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea when he was scouted out by Oliver Stone’s talent agents for his role in Platoon.

Stars in this broadway cast include Al Pacino, Bobby Cannavale and more.  The show will be directed by Daniel
Sullivan. Performances begin October 16 at the Schoenfeld Theatre. The production will open officially on November 11.

Glengarry Glen Ross is the story of a cutthroat quest to win a sales contest in a Chicago real estate office. In addition to featuring McGinley as Dave Moss, Pacino as Shelly “The Machine” Levene and Cannavale as Ricky Roma, the production stars previously announced Tony nominee David Harbour as John Williamson,

Break a leg Mr. McGinley and congratulations on going back.  Good luck as theatre is not as kind as Television and Movies!
