Childhood Memories turned Hollywood: Stretch Armstrong
This is a bit of interesting news:
Breck Eisner is now in charge of bringing a live-action adaptation of, what I can only think is, his childhood terrorizing his younger sister games. He will bring the Hasbro toy “Stretch Armstrong” to life for a movie that is already slated to be released April 11, 2014.
Dean Georgaris will be the scriptwriter who will develop this film. People! We have already suffered enough with Battleship, does our childhood still need more beating up? Why is it that these companies want to bring to life all these toys, which in cases like mine, were barely played with and just thrown behind some furniture and forgotten.By the way, Adam Sandler is still trying to bring “Candyland” to the big screen; mull that one over.
What do you guys think? Is bringing these games to life a good thing, and if so, what toy to major motion picture would you like to see?
